Impurities, such as dirt that enters the car when refilling, can be found in fuels.
The particles may cause harm to the injection system or the carburetor if they go farther inside the engine, for example by clogging nozzles. All internal combustion engines use a fuel filter to guarantee the fuel's cleanliness at all times.
