To be wear-resistant, the mounting bores and brake shoe roller must be hardened. The brake shoe's friction lining is riveted to it and can be replaced separately without having to replace the entire brake shoe.
Particularly when it comes to the geometry of the entire structure, the mounting bores on one side and the brake shoe roller on the other, brake shoes must be constructed correctly.
