It is typical to drive with engine oil cooled by an additional heat exchanger, such as an oil cooler. Oil is used frequently in the cooling process. Engine oil and hydraulic fluids are kept cool using oil coolers. The heat from the lubricant is absorbed by the SC3053 Oil Cooler For Retarder and transferred to the ambient air or radiator coolant.
