Its purpose is to dissipate heat produced by the engine to the environment using the cooling fluid in the cooling system. The radiator is constructed up of brass, steel, aluminum, or plastic tanks with an aluminum core. There are two types of radiators: with frame or without frame. The materials used to make the radiator are chosen based on its intended use, working conditions, and surroundings.
A frame, an extra heat exchanger (for example, an oil cooler), or an integrated expansion tank can be added to the RE2067N Radiator W/O Frame ( Behr Version ) depending on the application.
Retarder coolers (continuous brake) are a type of oil cooler that uses coolant from the engine cooling system as the cooling medium. They’re used in hydraulic retarder systems when the operating hydraulic fluid gets hot during operation and needs to be cooled.
