The engine's intake and exhaust valves are opened and closed respectively by the camshaft. Modern automobile cylinder heads are made using durable materials thanks to slashing manufacturing techniques.
All perinent accessories must be inspected and, if necessary, replaced as well if a component must be changed. This also comprises the rocker arm shafts, ball bolts, hydraulic valve adjustment components, pressure or valve adjusting washers, cam followers, and camshaft. The timing belt or chain should also be changed.
