A bonded rubber bush that is attached to the top of the damper and fixed to the vehicle's chassis serves as the mounting point for the suspension strut. The suspension strut assembly includes this as a key component. Additionally, strut mountings may have a bearing or bearing plate that enables the strut to rotate with the steering wheels.
