The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system's goal is to lessen nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from the engine's exhaust.
EGR valves come in two main categories. One employs a vacuum to work, and the ECU regulates the opening and closing of an electropneumatic pressure transducer.
